Container Freight Station
Mercer operates a U.S. Customs Bonded Container Freight Station CFS. This designation allows cargo to be delivered to our facility prior to clearance. Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCCs) who emphasize service and prompt cargo availability utilize Mercer (FIRMS CODE W138 for Seattle and W681 for Portland) for dray and devan on consolidation containers and secure handling of in-bond shipments.
